any help would be good as i am seriously considering getting these both.
and for those of you who dont know what im talking about, here are some pics of these 2 pipes.... one word..... sexy

Personally, i think they will definitely help. But i don't have first hand experience on it. I guess we can only wait for tingtw to get back on us. However, i think he's in Malaysia at the moment, racing his RColt. Hence might take a few days before he can reply on this.

I wish i can get those too......got to save up now :( btw, i was told those pipings are on back order. Hence, might have to wait even if you order now.

man hook us all up! hehehe :D

i'm pretty sure they do make a performance gain - they claim so on this aus website http://www.justjdm.com.au/.. and they do look pretty hot btw!

rcolt i don't know if u remember, but that done up black rcolt at the brisbane motor show had this and other ralliart gear on it, and had some decent performance gains...

It really depends. Do you want to modify your car further? Or do you just want to do a few simple mods such as this and leave it?

If your gonna do more - I don't think it's worth it. If you plan on fitting a larger intercooler, your going to get different piping anyway, rendering the ralliart pipes useless. If you plan to upgrade turbo with a different intake set up - again, the suction pipe will be useless.

I can also confirm that as of today, Blitz Japan have released a whoooole lot of shit for the Z27AG. We will not see it for a while, it will be on their website shortly I would assume. Dump pipes, exhausts, intakes, front mounts, have been told its all there. Best bet is to wait and see how much it all costs before you blow $1000 on what is effectively a visual enhancement compared.

But that black RColt has custom exhaust extractors too. Hence, not enough to comfirm the individual benefit of the pipings.

Besides this, carbing has a set of pipings and heat shield for the rcolt as well. I have been on them the past few days.

Observations are torque responses improves and trust me, you will feel the difference. Due the the pipings being aluminium, there is less resistance compared to the rubber pipings thus improving the efficiency.

I plugged in an OBDII diagnostic tool and at warm idle, the air temp is about 40+ degrees celsius with this setup. I have not tried checking the stock air temp but the NA colts report around 50+ degrees celsius. I will try to log down the more observations.

Cheers!

BLOODY GOOD NEWS! I WILL WAIT! thanks heaps for the info guys. ive checked out the carbing ones and i dont think they are much cheaper. if i was given the choice of getting carbing pipes or paying a little bit more for ralliart pipes, i would rather get the Ralliart ones. But this news about Blitz going work on our car; FANTASTIC!

I would say dun expect much from BLITZ though I hope otherwise.

Why?

The predecessor of the current COLT RALLIART Version-R is the COLT RALLIART. Launched in Nov 04 and replaced by the Version-R is Jun 06. Both shared the same 4G15 MIVEC Turbo and the same turbo setup.

A good one-and-a-half year had past yet BLITZ only has an induction kit for the COLT RALLIART

Take reference from the recent Tokyo Auto Salon. BLITZ got no demo car based on the Version-R

The Australian Blitz Rep. has confirmed that it is happening. The 2007 Blitz catalogue hasn't even been released yet and you wonder why it wasn't at Autosalon? Think how many models Blitz would have put in to the show, they can't do every model and put them all on a stand.

As I said when the Blitz rep contacted us on Monday, he had said it was released in JAPAN that day. So you can assume we won't see it for quite some time. Still definitely something to wait for.

So you mean the BLITZ parts were already released in Japan?

I highly doubt so coz I've my only reliable sources what were released on the JDM daily :D

Please prove me wrong with BLITZ part numbers. I want to see more parts for our rides too ;)

Z27AG is the model number for RColt Ver R. Its just like Integra DC5R or DC2R represents different model of Type R. And yes, the Ver R's engine is 4G15T
