What function does the LED on the dash suppose to have? I can't find any info on it in the owner's manual?

LED?? Is there one written as "LED" on it? Must have a look and get back to you....

It doesn't serve any purpose on our cars. It is just a piece of clear plastic screwed to the underside of the dash, not an LED. Perhaps it is used as the position for a light sensor for automatic headlights if that is an option on overseas models.

It sits on the dash, just to the left of the middle, where the removable top centre panel is,and it's definitely red!:)

The part you can see from the top is just a nub in the plastic which pokes through its not an LED.

hey there mate..

now i know what you are talking about... i believe its the temperature sensor for the climate control - i can't think of anything else it could be..
