Personal opinion here and that is go for moph's set up as you can choose what guage you want and also the brand. You can get some nice Pivot ones ;)
Ralliart one is WAY to expensive and you can get cheaper just dont get ralliart. Those gauges are made by Defi. They too have a single din triple gauge thing but that is about $700+.

danny i used a single din mounting plate i got from Motoquipe - you can buy this plate from nearly any auto shop. As you can see in the pictures, I've put another head unit in mine and i needed something to fill the gap...it was the perfect excuse to get some gauges :p
http://justjap.com/store/images/P/dinpanel.jpg
As for gauges, it's up to you - get whatever you like. I went with the Cobalt cos i liked them the best:

Definitely shop around though. i got these for cheap cos i know the owner of the shop :)

Man were did you get that holder???
I don't know where he got his holder,
BUT it is a kit from Mitsubishi in Japan to fit the gauges on top instead of in the radio panel.
You need a tray,( I bought 3 of them back from Japan for my cars) and then the gauge fitting kit which can be purchased at any Dealer in Japan, fits onto the tray.
The holder costs around 6825 yen about $95 Australian.
The trays cost around 7455 yen about $100 Aus

My wife is going back to Japan in June for 2 weeks, unfortunately I am not.
But she is getting me more accessories and more Ralliart parts I want for our cars.
She could order more.
There are many accessories available from Mitsubishi. Genuine Parts.
I have a 34 page catalog of accessories.
Oh by the way I have complained to Mitsubishi Australia for 2 years now about accessories. Someone actually rang me yesterday.
They feel the part and accessories they offer is enough.

Answer to your question : Probably. Yes I'm sure she would. Actually I can order them from here, direct.
I live in the Southern Highlands.
You are welcome to see all the catalogs I have.
Regarding Mitsubishi. I have complained on every customer satisfaction survey they send. I have 3 Ralliart Colts so you can imagine how many I fill in and how many times I have complained. The oldest Ralliart Colt I have is two years old.
It falls on deaf ears.
But they did ring this week, so some nice speaking young lady could nicely tell me to get stuffed.
I have always bought my parts from Japan. AND I get what I want.
I am not a business selling parts, so I don't want to tread on toes. BUT I know exactly what things cost in Japan. I won't say anymore.

sorry for not answering the question as I am not often login here
the tray is ordered from Japan Yahoo Auction, I bought this something like one year ago. This is original Mitsubishi parts, I think you can order from Mitsubishi Japan.
However, please note that it's not only the tray, you have to order the plate under the tray as well as they are different from the original. There is a hold in the middle of the tray.

I just checked Yahoo Japan Auction and no such tray right now.
I typed Japanese of "Colt" to search.
Even you find the items that you want to have, they are not willing to send to overseas. You have to find someone in Japan to pay and collect the product and send to your country. This is the way how I did.

I can get them.
I was president of an other Japanese make of car club for many years. I imported all our parts because the cars weren't sold in Australia. That is why I went to Japan so many times. I went to Japanese car club meetings and to purchase parts. Cars are my hobby not my business.
But this site has sponsors. I don't wish to take away their business.

The tray is the pop out top section of the dash, which is different to ours as it has a recess in the top of it for mounting the gauge pod/holder, or just for throwing bits and pieces into - is that what you are asking filo?:)

OK as best as I can describe it.
There is what they call a tray. I have these in my car. They replace the plain panel that goes between the top of the air vents to the front window in the centre of the top of the dash board. Mine has a flat anti slip recess stepped down sort of a bin about A4 size that is horizontal. So you could put a book or something in it and it can't fall off while you are driving.
So you need this panel and then you would need a "hood kit" that is what it says in the catalog. It looks exactly like the say one in the photo.
Only small problem is that the part number in the catalog is for a black tray panel. I know because mine are black, but on the fitting instructions it lists other part numbers for different colours and one for Ralliart.

Mmm. Black dash! The catalog only show one colour for the Hood Kit.
I will look into that more.
No, it doesn't matter how many. As I said I will buy extra for whoever wants them. Just PM me. I buy them retail from a very helpful dealer in Japan. He will post them but it is much cheaper for postage if I buy stuff when we are in Japan. That way if it is wrong I can give it back. In fact the dealer is in the same City where the cars are made.
Hhhhmmmm. Might try to organise a factory tour on my next trip.
So far only 1 member has contacted me. I will get his.
