How come no one get the Butterscotch RColt?

Hi all,

Till now, i have seen people getting all different colors for the rcolt, except for the butterscotch version. Why?? I thought it looks pretty good too. Looks abit like Gold at some angle. What's everyone opinion on this color?

Actually, the first CVR in singapore on the road is yellow. Bought from PI and is crazy into mod, has replaced his rim to TE37, ralliart body kit.

Too bad he didnt post any pictures.

It is avaliable in Australia, trust me! If you look at www.carsales.com.au and search for brand new car in stock for ralliart colt, you will find dealers selling this colour.

Yes the butterscotch RColt is in australia. Crows Nest to be exact.
I asked the dealer to take me down to the car holding yard so i can see the different colours amongst the colours, there was a butterscotch. I saw it myself with my own 2 eyes.
To answer your question lovesil, im just not a butterscotchy kinda person. Butterscotch is too eye catching and it kinda looks more like a girly colour... Kinda the same reason none of us guys would get a pink car. :D

the butterscotch with dark dark tint looks suprisingly good. if you see a normal colt in butterscotch .......looks awful

ralliart didn't yellow/blue colours in aus, that's what i heard.

i heard the same: blue and yellow were only brought in as test colours, that's why there aren't very many RColts in these colours around

Mitsubishi discontinued the yellow color in Japan with the 2008 model year. You can still get one in light blue, though. These must be pretty rare, as I have never seen one!

Most manufacturers bring in test colors in all models of cars to see whats going to work and be popular, yellow and blue failed badly here in OZ. Hence why they wernt made a permanent color choice.

That blue colour is called Miami Green, mitsu have been doing it for ages, my old mirage was that colour.

Its like a blue ish greenish colour

I can't imagine why yellow didn't work in Aus. It definitely stands out, especially RColt's yellow's looks abit gold under the sun.

I think the yellow failed (in Japan, too, eventually) because it was a pale yellow, not a loud, sports car yellow. A real Ferrari-yellow colt would do great, IMHO.

I meant the yellow color of the Ferrari badge on their cars. But yeah, red is definitely the Ferrari color.

hmm i know my car is called "Butterscotch" but i prefer to put the emphasis on the "scotch" somehow it makes it feel more "manly"... :D

nah i love my scotchy!!! It has a really cool effect under lights, i will take some photos of it soon... just gotta get my camera going...
