hi guys, just wondered if its possible to hav a screamer pipe fitted to our rcolts or would it set off cel, im gathrring it would :)

Probably not as it would bypass the second o2 sensor....are you thinking of one because they are very loud and sort of illegal

I doubt the Colt would make enough boost to even warrant one. Will sound like shit.

dont u need external wastegate for it to work?

Some of the Singapore colts have screamers but then again their pushing 300HP at the crank.

Hate to be a stick in the mud, but with the amount of guys in their 180's and R33's "screaming" past my place, sometimes I wish they would put a cork in it, and reconnect their wastegate with the exhaust like it is meant to! Totally unnecessary for our cars and purely for the "look at me" crowd I reckon!:rolleyes:

haha i dnt need to youtube screamer lol my mate has a 33 with a t70 in it with a 3speed auto, its loud!!! but gives him plenty more kick with it, like sumone just said some of the overseas rcolts have them but obviously they have alot more power than we do :P
