Hey all!

Hopefully a soon-to-be owner of one of these little things! Took one for a test drive last weekend and was blown away :D . Was orginally looking at either going down the XR5 or GTI route - but after taking into things like running costs, insurance, warranty, and most importantly inital cost, the little Colt trumped them all!

Only problem is my wife reckons i'm a little old to be driving one of these! I'm 33 turning 34 in Sept.

How old are the rest of you lot that post on here?

Thanks!

Ezz

I'm 30 this year. So, not far off from you. Funny how that's the same thing my wife said to me :D

You will find the early batch of RColt owners, to be around the same age as me and the later to current batch to be of around 20+.

Personally, a car can be make into either a boy racer or a mature sport car. This will all depend on the mods and direction you headed :)

WOW! most of you guys are young! best not tell my wife abt this forum ;)

looking at getting either red or white - prefer the 06/07 model as I loooove the Recaros!

wife's other concern is she reckons i'll get bored of it quite quickly. My response to that is there's nothing like a few mods here and there to sort out any boredom issues :p

welcome to the forum mate.

I'm 38... the RColt is part of mid-life crises and follows a Kawasaki Ninja ZXR-12 (= stupidly fast ) , which followed a Harley Davidson Roadking (Noisey :D)...etc... so may the crises never end :p a CV8Z Monaro and or a HQ GTS Monaro are next on the 'crises shortlists' but I am still enjoying the RColt for now ;)
