BOV n CEL

I'm just wondering is it all afterwmarket BOV is not suitable for australia stock colt r.
if i put it on will the CEL turn on?
if i restart the engine will the CEL still on?
i'm planning to get a HKS BOV is it a gd ideal?

Hi Victor,

At the moment, it seems that only the turbosmart BOV works on our RColt (refer to 27AME & other singapore rcolts)

According to one of my mate, who put on a Blitz BOV on his rcolt, when he boost it, CEL will turn on and cut 95% of the engine power. The engine cut will go away if you turn off the car for a few mins, but the CEL will remain turned on. Will need to get someone with those ECU monitor to access our ecu and clear the CEL message within. This happens exactly to me for my boost controller application.
