Anyway, anyone know the weight of CVR stock wheels?

I love the Superturismo GT. This is exactly the rims i would love to put on my rcolt, but not sure if it comes with 4 Studs. Another one that i seriously like, is the Evo 6/6.5's stock rims. They are similar to Superturismo GT, but also only come with 5 studs.

Bro, I checked.
PCD for CVR is 4 x 114.3. Both of the rim i suggested has it. You can check it out at OZ website. http://www.ozracing.com/2006/pages/index.php?lang=it
The thing bothering me now is whether i can get a good trade-in value for my stock. Those are AD 07 tires you know...

Why not just keep the stock rims and tyres? I'm sure you wouldn't get any money back when you sell your rcolt with the Oz Racing rims. What size of rims are you thinking of getting? 17 inch? If 16 inch, you might as well transfer the AD07 over.

I am changing to 17".
However getting a good trade-in is essential. Otherwise, i might just stick to stock. I have a budget to make mine "different" from others so I wouldnt mistaken others for my car :p
SGD $1500 for wheels (aft trade-in)
SGD $1500 for kits
Do you think its enough?

What kits are you talking about? How much is it to buy a set of 17 inch brand new from Oz Racing (without trade in)? I think you should get a better price by selling the rim+AD07 to a normal colt owner in Singapore. Anything is better than a trade in.

Wow, just got a firm offer.
OZ GT 17" 350/each
OZ Ultra 17" 380/each
AD07 17" Tires 180/each
Trade-in stock $600 whole set.
So total for GT is $1,520, Ultra $1,640. $20 over budget :P, but I may listen to your advice and sell stock separately instead of trading in.
As for kit, i am looking at the original Ralliart front lip and spolier. Not to sure about the price, but should be below $2,000. :o

the $1520 / $1640 is in Sing dollar ya?? Seriously, that is so cheap. I should seriously consider taking a set back to aus on my next trip to Sing. Do you think you can find out for me a 16 inch set's price?
As for Ralliart front lip.......personally....i don't like it. But Spoiler's good. $2k should be enough to get it in Sing. Looks like Sing's importing is much cheaper than Aus.
Those wheel prices are cheap in Singapore. They would be at leaast $550 to $600 per rim here in Australia. Then you have to buy the rubber still! I remember pricing up some OZ rims for the WRX and they came in at about $750 per rim for 18" ones, that was a few years back.

WORD! Hence i figured it works out to be quite cheap for me to bring a set back. Just imagine $350 SGD = $291 AUD (Convertion rate's around 1:1.2) for 4 = $1166 AUD + 10% GST (when going through custom) = $1283 AUD. And this is 17 inch we are talking about. Just imagine getting a 16 inch set, which might end up only 1K AUD. Bargain if you ask me.

I went down to other tire shops to compare prices. The person attended to me adviced against going for the GT. "It will be pretty heavy, ultra would be a much better choice for performance car since its so light", he said.
So far, i have not had the chance to see any publish figures on the weight of these rims. I probably will take his words for it and switch. Although, i still perfer the GT styling.
As for body kit, i probably will just get the spoiler and give the lip a miss to stay within budget.
:D

Do you think you can weight both rims before you get it or put it on?

I might just do that.
Anyway found an atricle on Ultraleggera
Ultraleggera: a little Formula One for everyone!
The one-part “Ultraleggera” is OZ’s latest creation an engineering feat that allows “regular” car drivers to enjoy the Formula One wheel design, giving them access to sophisticated racing technology for everyday driving. Rarely has a wheel achieved a more perfect blend of elegance and sportiness than the “Ultraleggera”.
Six double spokes create the product’s visual association with Formula One. The black carbon fibre hub cap is also emblematic of OZ’s dedication to motor sports and the pinnacle of racing Formula One.
Its weight-optimised design derived from advanced Formula One technology lends the wheel its fleet-footed profile. Proprietary OZ technology made it possible for the manufacturer to cut down its weight by as much as 40% in comparison to die-cast wheels of the same size made for the same vehicles. Lower weight yields a range of advantages such as a reduction in unsprung mass, which has a major impact on driving comfort and steering precision. Less mass also means less fuel consumption, faster acceleration and shorter braking distances. Thus the “Ultraleggera”, like all other weight-optimised models by OZ, enhances vehicle performance. The examples below show the extraordinary low weight of these wheels:
7 x 15 inch (such as for Renault Clio): 5.3 kg
7 x 16 inch (such as for Golf V): 6.7 kg
7 x 17 inch (such as for Mini Cooper): 7.2 kg
8 x 18 inch (such as for Subaru): 8.2 kg

Hello,
Just a question -
17inch x 7 with 225/45/17 tyres - will these fit in a Colt Ralliart?
