Just wondering, does anyone know whether the stock throttle body and flywheel on a normal colt are the same as our Rcolt? Just need the two parts to actually start some project.
Cheers
i dont know for sure but the throttle body would prolly be bigger on the turbo model
dunno about flywheel
in short, i'm not much help at all, sorry :p

throttle bodies will be different
I gather the flywheel will be different to as they are 2 different famlies of engines.
i cant confirm but there is nothing in the workshop manual that specifies them
You might be able to get a dealer to check the part numbers for you. Otherwise I would check other mitsu models that have the 4G15 engine.

The throttle bodies look different with gaskets unique to that body for fitment to the inlet manifold, also the water hose connections / electronics are also on opposite sides so I'd say no, they are not the same.:)
Don't know about the flywheel, too hard to tell, as Adam said contact parts to see if they share the same part no.

mmm .... guess i will have to source the rcolt throttle body and fly wheel then. Was hoping it would be the same on the regular colt, then the part would be easy to source. Cheers anyway.
hrmm what about a throttlebody from a mirage or lancer CE 1.5ltr 4G15? would they be the same?
