NOV 1 & 2 - Red Bull Air Race



As you've no doubt already seen advertised, the Red Bull Air Race is happening this year in Perth Nov 1 & 2.

I'm planning to fly over for it with a few mates from all over the country and wanted to know if any of the Perth cats are going. At this stage we're trying to book an apartment for the weekend to crash/drink/watch/drink from.

Any of you guys going?

I live a couple hundred metres from the river (South Perth side) so always pop down for a look. Let us know where you are staying/going to be specating from Tmr, might come say hello if its close?, keeping in mind hundreds of thousands of spectarors go and parking is near impossible! Unless you live nearbye :D

On Nightshifts this year though so will be fun trying to sleep in with the sounds of big mosquito's above.

Book your apartment asap as they will be booked out quick mate. Aparently Perth hotels already run at about 80% capacity, before any speciel events :eek:

edit: lol dunno what happened there... translation: yeh i might go down for a look, but i'll travel by train to avoid the parking & traffic fiasco that manifests at these events.

ill be there on the sunday wouldnt miss it for the world . the only prob is no glass is allowed and you cant buy it at any bottleo near by. The Heineken kegs are really good or even a case of 9% buillit cans are great. let us know which bank youll be on and we might catch up

Hmm i live just by rev so i usually just walk down too i might be able to offer some parking too he people are keen, got a long driveway could fit 3 or 4 colts in it... just email me if you want directions if you would like to see how close it is to the river, 800m and on the south perth foreshore, so just let me know!!
