Hi all from colt-club Russia. :)
I have a project of modernization of 4G15DOHC n/a in the 4G15DOHC turbo engine.
Pistons made for the CR 8.9 : 1.
turbo is TD04HL-13T
The question: What is maximum power(hp) for standard 4G15 mivec turbo connecting rods.
my project http://www.colt-club.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=7801
Thanks to all

I may be wrong, but I thought the more influential thing to cause a rod to fail was RPM. Huge horsepower and compression would cause more problems with pistons... Not saying HP won't make a rod fail, but may be down on the priorities...
hmmm..i cant understand a word from your forum..LOL...

As far as the rcolt is concerned, there has been little development of the current engine (especially on internals), at this stage we are restricted to mainly bolt on peformance products. You may have more luck on a general mitsubishi site where some guys may have converted the 4G15 to turbo, or added the twin cam head / turbo to the single cam block (conversion for a Mitsubishi Mirage for example) - good luck !:)

Asking the singapore guy's correct. I know a few of them are currently undergoing engine strengthening :)
