I have seen one on the road quite a while ago. A silver or grey one. You can definitely tell its different and does looks alot alot better :D personally, i loved it.

My mates got an original one, nice car fun as to drive i hav driven it a few times back from sydney, Just the rcolt seems faster than the rx8, its torque curve is so linear! but she goes all the way to 10!

I've read on their forums that you need to really rev it hard for it to be responsive, but i still love those recaro's....ohh also read that in the old models that even if you pull the handbrake up they have a habit of rolling on a slope...not sure if its just these guys aren'tpulling their handbrakes up properly or somethings dodgy with teh handbrake...soughta like the topgear episode last week on tv where they were trying to find 3 good british built cars from some manufacturer and they had to do the hill park and 1 rolled down the hill with the handbrake on and the other didn't even make it up the hill...
