Nice car you got there Pete. Always wanna a ride in one of these. I wonder how it feel compare to our colt, or to my previous Silvia. By the way, why is it white? I thought all ralliart magna's in red?
drives very much like the colt, after driving both ralliarts im starting to think for something to get the ralliart badge it must meet a particualr standard and drive in a specific way.
the colt is more zippy but not as quick as the magna. you dont get the good feeling of boost since its NA but it very responsive. 1st gear WOT you will get wheel spin nearly every time so you got to make sure you moving first or you just spin the wheels, were as the colt you dont.
i have coilovers in mine so corners very well for a big FWD car, haven't realyl taken the colt for a sprited drive yet but from what i hear they will handel very well
and and colour they came in Red White Black and um maybe thats all, white is the most rare colour

Actually, i wheelspinned the rcolt in 1st gear when i first take it for a test drive at a quiet street. This happens even when i tried to take off normally. Maybe its because i'm used to drive my 200sx with a buttom clutch, hence i let go the clutch abit too quick and caused the spinning :)
yeah this can happen but i mean you can be rolling along in 1st so not letting the cluch out and will still spin the wheels. still want to try the colt taking off in boost
ok heres the pic of them both

Well I have just purchased a Ralliart Colt for my wife and did some research at your website to check it out first. Didnt find this thread until tonight, Petes garage looks very dejavu as I have a White Ralliart magna #78 and also we have a Red Ralliart Colt on the way. By the way Ralliart Magna came in White,Red, Black and Silver. I has a 94 lancer GSr in Red so I changed to white for some different as it had a full evo 3 body kit which looked very similar to the magna (but smaller), if you what photos of either let me know, only changes I have made to the Magna to change the top engine mount with a racing mount out of urathaine (spelt wrong I know).

I bought my Magna new from Hunter Mitsubishi in Newcastle, but as they didnt take the Ralliart Colt on I had to buy my Colt from Northshore M.., I havent been too happy with the guys in Newcastle, I know the mechanic well and he has done some great stuff for me but the company as a hole dont really go all out to help you, they have been bought out by another group and they even charged me for a loan car which used to be free due to the Ralliart name before ($25). Anyway the colt is great and I bought a fuel cap and ralliart filter for it , drove home to Newcastle from Sydney and when I opened the bonnet to fit the new filter I found a metre long mechanics torch sitting in the engine bay resting on the manifold. The guys were suppose to fit the Ralliart White lights the night before but ordered the wrong ones (must be the lancer part) and I guess they forgot the lamp. Also one of the license plate screws on the back has been crossthreaded and half put in with the head worn off. Not a good start to a new car.

phul mate,
just a quick word, with your posts each thought / rant ( lol ) has its own place and this kinda thing is best off in your own members ride thread or in the service thread we have going. Just do a quick thread search and you will find it.
Cheers,

Yes the mount helps the engine from too much movement , it handles much better and when the tyres slip (mainly in the wet) it doesnt create as much tyre bounce/shuttered. The bad pints are that because the mount is much harder it does allow more noise to be transfered from the engine into the body of the car, this is only when under accelaration. Pete I was wondering why you would change your exhuast, I had a 3 inch truck exhaust on my GSr for performance but I wil lnever change the magna as from the factory its stainless and still has a lot of life left in it, I did change the crappy tail tip as it was a silly hexagon shape and put I nice thick chromed oval one on.
