Hi All, just wanted people's opinion if a brand new ralliart colt would sell for $29,000? Does anyone know at what price would the dealer trade in?

I reckon you could probably get a 2006 model for that.. Go bloody close anyway..

I got mine for about spot on 30 on road including floor mats. Would have been slightly under 30 without the mats - 29900.

Ooops... Sorry for not clarifying... I was referring to a Used Ralliart Colt which only travelled 200kms... That's as good as new, right? :o

Not really supposed to tell anyone this but I got mine for $29,000 DRIVEAWAY - brand new. Free floor mats, tinted windows and headlight protectors (I didn't know I was getting these extra's, they were on the car when I went to pick it up).

BTW, this is for a 2006 Model that was left in stock :)

The dealer couldn't believe I got that price and told me that by giving me that price they were effectively giving it to me at cost price - very little margins in that sale :P

Is that a demo RColt? If yes.....most probably, i will say don't get it. You should know how hard the salesman thrash a RColt to impress test drivers. But as everyone said, $30k is very achieveable for a 2006 stock. Doubt you will get a 2007 stock as they should still be trying to sell off all 2006 stock.

u better clarify if its 2007 built or an end of 2006 built but sold as a 2007 registered model....

if its the latter then its still a 2006 model when u sell it...2007 built cars won't be out till end of feb..early mARCH....
If it is a 2007 built car it won't be sold for $30k driveaway....it'll be $30k+ on road etc.....

i got my 2006 one after xmas for $30k driveaway with tints and mats...but only cuz its an '06 model and once it hit 1 jan 07 its lost value alrdy....if its a demonstator with 200km on the clock i'd knock it down to like $26-27k

Hmmm i'll have to ask the Dealer again on this to clarify. but i did ask before buying it. he said it was a 2007 model.

however he also said there is nothing different from a 2006 to 2007.
he wanted me to buy his demo white one for 28K drive away with 4000 on the clock. but he has thrashed it a bit i am sure of.

yeah the sales people crap on about that...but at the end of the day when u trade it in they look at the date it was built......not the date it was first registered........make sure they are giving u a 2007 built car if thats what your paying for.....

and yeah they'd do good deals now on 2006 cars cuz they need to clear the stock cuz the 2007 cars will arrive end of the month

as above .... there is no difference between the 2006 and 2007 car however the resale value makes a diff ... imagine your selling the car in 2009 a 06 model car is now 3 years old where as a 07 is 2 years old even tho it might just be a matter of a few weeks difference in manafacturing it plays with peoples minds

Most likely you would find all the RColt we own now, is built around June 06 to Sept 06. I bought mine at Dec 06, but the built date's at July 06. I think Chikopoe off this forum is also a June/July built RColt.

Would you guys know anyone who would be interested in purchasing a New Colt Ralliart? There's 200km on the clock, colour coded side flares and tinnted windows. Just picked it up over the weekend, had to let go due to unfortunate personal circumsances. Was hoping to get at least $27k. If no offer by this weekend, I have no choice but to trade it in to the dealer :(
