Under seat

Ok, i want to keep the room in my boot, i was wondering if anyone knew of a sub we could fit under our seats?

they are normally called shallow subwoofer or, flat subwoofer, slimline sub etc.....

-i would stick with pioneer because i know they been doing them for a long time now, hence maybe more experience

-i know kenwood have some as well and soundstream picasso series (i think r small)

-one thing to keep in mind is the volume of the box needed....i believe a 10" will fit fine with a custom made box...be aware that if someone is seated on the seat, the seat gets lower....but otherwise there is plenty of room under the seat....use a bunch of empty 2Lt milk bottle to help calculate the volume you have to work with....i would assume u would stick a sub under one chair an amp under the other?

-u maybe able to fit a 12" a 12" would be best because if u in a crazy mood it can move alot more air and help u get rid of that stress...but otherwise a 10" is tighter but tad less bass....

-one trick is to line the box with poly fill, or dynmat...help stop resonance waves, hence even if the box is under the recommend volume, the polyfill help the box seem bigger than what it is

-worst case scenario, u increase the height of your seat or the passenger by a couple cm to get the clearence u want

i ordered my sub today... found out they retail at 700 bucks

but i get it for 500 :D

will start on the boot next week!
