Gday all I am an advocate of both camps.. I love my muscle cars and I love the pocket rockets... Our garage was filled with 1 VX 5.7ltr Calais and 1 6ltr VZ SS.. Both awesome cars but we had to choose.. My missus was literally driving the Calais less than 12 ks a day.. Stop start all the way = 320kms from 75ltrs.. Being modded it had a very healthy appetite for Ultimate 98... Time for retirement.. BTW kept the 6ltr.. 7psi 6ltrs and 6 gears whats not too like :)..
Well we started the search and came across a white 11/07 runout @ Paceways with $25999 on the screen.. Thought great little car but lets give it a miss this time
Anyways went home and started trawling the net and I find the same car on carsales for $23999, well now this deal is looking good.. Sent off the info request and got a call from the salesman in about an hr..
Went down the next day to haggle.. Laid down an offer of $23999 including CTP and Stamp with rego till 9/08.. SOLD !! Well how can you refuse that deal on brand new car with an RRP of $ 29999..
Anyways I look forward to sharing my mod experience with you all and getting this lil bus hauling.. !!
