G'day Colt Ralliart Lovers

I'll be collecting my new Silver Baby in approx 1.5 weeks time... Can't wait to get my hands on it and hit the 1,500km servicing b4 I can push it a bit harder :D

I have test drove the Polo GTI b4 making a decision... Boy can I tell you... The cars are worlds apart... The traction control and stability control on the Colt is superb to the max!!!

Ralliart Rules :D

Welcome......sorry, haven't catch your name yet :p

1.5 wks wait sure is a pain. But you will love it when you get your hands on it. Besides pushing it harder after 1500km, make sure to change your oils at that time to get rid of all the waste created by the run in.

Remember to take pics of the silver baby and share it with us when you collect it ;)

I have a little silver Ralliart Colt I call it my little Urchin as it is yummy on the inside and outside it all business.
Be sure to take it real easy for the 1st 1000ks then take it for a long drive say to Wangaratta and back or up into the back blocks when you are getting close to the 1500k mark whilst at freeway speed drop it to 4th then 3rd the revs will slowly raise to 6000 + hold it for a few seconds and go back to 5th gear do this a few times you will notice a real differance with your little silver baby.

Both Lovecolt and myself noticed that the engine was quieter and more responsive and there was less tyre noise and I found that my fuel economy improved after this long drive.

Good luck you will love you little Colt and once it starts to fully run in the fun really starts ive got just over 2600ks on the clock and my little Urchin is still getting stronger.

Hey bbcolt!

Welcome!

I picked mine up from Melbourne, but I live in Canberra, so after 1 day I already have about 750Km on the clock! Half finished running the car in last night! I went up and down in the revs and changed between the gears a fair bit to avoid sitting it in one gear at the same rpm for the entire trip. Lots of changing revs and that kind of thing.

Like you, can't wait to hit 1500km and get that oil changed then enjoy it even more!
