i know some people love alpine and swear by it. But personally, after fitting them into cars i'd prefer almost anything else :p

P.S. steer clear from the digital amps...

Yes, opinions will always vary with what goes into a car, as much as which car it goes in...

My experiences with Alpine since the early '80s in my Dad's 260z to now have been great. I also know Kenwood, Clarion and Pioneer make nice stuff and Sony XPlode literally does :D

I've got to admit, there's not much crap out there at the moment except all the cheap-arse copies of expensive gear... and Sony...

Up to now, Alpine have always been a price category above the rest, but there's some affordable gear out there now...

IMO you cant get mych better than alpines headunits for the price and features. (yes there are better high end units, and cheaper low end units)

There speakers are ok, but if you steer clear of the name brands aka sony pioneer fusion there are better speakers out there.

There top end amps are also awesome.
