Blue dash

When carsales.com-ing the rcolt and seeing different pics, I couldn't help noticing the blue dash. But to my relief, its only in the flash... as seen in my pics... I would have preferred all black...

Must be something with the surface texture, reflecting back the flash's light...

Stop driving at midnight and you will see the blue :p

Luckily, its not that visable. Not only RColt, even Ford XR4 also come with blue dash. So, we are not alone

I don't like that vivid blue as captured in the flash pics... I can live with the dash I have... Though I have been tempted to go back to supercheap auto for some $2.99 black spray paint :eek:

you need VHT Vinyl dye spray paint. You need to make sure the dash is clean of oils and spray in thin coats. You'll need ~4-6 cans to do the whole dash. I helped my bro do his lancer's dash white/cream from dark grey and it turned out really good.

If you're gonna bother, wait for the new Colt release and do a swap like aby82 suggested. It's definitely tempting, but probably not worth it.
