Whats Better?

Hey fellow colt nutz :p im finally gettin some money 2getha lol so i was wondering whats better the ralliart air/fmic pipes or an intercooler, k&n filter or the ralliart one, and what braces to get, also is it worth gettin the turbo smart boost T or is there a reflash comin out?

i would go k&n boost T and fmic. Why? Ralliart looks nice but costs alot, the stuff i mentioned is better bfyb.

I have the ralliart filter, soon to get k&n pod kit.

Obviously, to be warranted safe, you should be getting all ralliart stuff (pipings/filters), but Macca's right on the money for BFYB facter.

For braces, i would recommend a full underbody bracing like mine and a rear strut/underbody brace.

I'd get a Greddy Intercooler Kit, a Blitz Pod Filter Kit and then save for a full exhaust and a tune.

Just been driving an R-colt (with a customer that just bought one) with some upgrades from TMR (Team Mitsubishi Ralliart, yes the stuff that DOESNT void warranty). I cant elaborate much on this at the moment, but WOW!

As soon as I get the green light on this stuff, I'll go into detail about what will be on offer. ;)

Mine's from YR-Advance. Got it for 700 (provided and installed) at my mechanic's workshop. But you should be able to get them much cheaper if you go through JAS Racing.

you will not find a better cheap solution than a turbosmart manual boost controller. don't bother with the ralliart intercooler piping if you're planning on upgrading to a FMIC later.

Yes, you can certainly feel the difference it made to the handling. Right after the installation, i can immediately feel the extra rigidity coming from your back. No other suspension mod's been done to the car.

i have a k&n panel filter, was wondering how much of a difference a pod filter would make?

Not sure, I think I read that the pod filters gave a 2 or 3 kw improvement.. but the question was is it worth it for a $150+ modification. Have a look around on the forums.

From my TMR Colt test drive, this modification will have full warranty from TMR and original warranty honoured by Mitsubishi. This power and suspension upgrade will make most RColters very happy. I couldn't believe the sensation I felt driving this car. Grinning most of the time.

I believe it's in final stages of testing. Very soon now. I will be the first guinea pig to try this out. Will write up a review when I pick my car up on 26/03.

Mike isnt allowed to for fear of death! :D Mike is the guinea pig for testing so if it all comes up trumps you guys will be able to get the mods yourself. In the mean time you'll be able to quiz mike on what its like long term!
