Does anybody know whether the rear seat from a ES LS or VRX Colt will fit the Ralliart Colt, so you can accommodate 3 people instead of only 2 ?

The R-colt is LICENSED to seat 4 not 5. You would need to have an engineers certificate, and extra seat belt to be bolted in, and THEN you could whack in 3 people in the rear. (Yes, the Rear R-colt seats are the same as ES,VR-X just different fabric, the mechanism is the same for folding etc...)

There seems to be a conflict of information.

Someone I know wants to purchase a Ralliart Colt.
However, the only thing that's stopping them from purchasing one, is the back seat only accommodates 2. They need a back seat to accommodate 3 kids. The local Mitsi dealer told the guy that the seats are different in respect to the design of the backrest, and of course, the extra seat belt.

What we need to establish is the correct info. The only solution would be to place a Ralliart Colt next to a lower model, and compare the 2 seats. Is anybody capable of doing this?

BTW, my rego papers state that the Ralliart Colt is a 5 seater, even though you can physically see that it isn't ! :)

if you can take a pic of your ralliart's rear seat, i can get a pic of an ES one to compare :)

I owned the NA COLT and the COLT RALLIART Version-R.

Seats are interchangable for both models. Mountings are the same except the seat design. NA COLT rear seat designed to seat 3 whereas Version-R designed to seat 2, either way, general dimensions are the same. Dun worry about the center seat belt. It comes with the seat.

I even swapped the front bench seat of my 2003 COLT to my 2005 COLT :D
