*hmm looking at Kens a second time, looks like he has black plain sticker then placed the Ralliart lettering sticker (like I have on mine) on top maybe??? if so Motoequipe has heaps of the lettering stickers, you just need the plain black sticker background?

Do you mean a "how to" for changing the antenna? If yes, then its too easy. All you need to do, is to grab and turn your current antenna anti-counterwise at the base and it will come off. And do reverse of that to fit in the new ones :)

lol i thought about doing this, but then i remembered i never use my radio, so i just cut the antenna, it looks great now that it isn't 2m long :D

plus i just use the radio in my zune, which is always in my car if i want radio... all my CDs and radio in one place and it syncs via Wifi from my driveway, don't even need to bring it inside :D

Never have much problem with the reception with this antenna. Underground carpark will still have issues, but difference ain't that big.

I think you will find that most newish cars with the stubby antenna will be Fine.
I scored a Stubby antenna off a Damaged Current model Swift on Ebay..... I think it was about $10.... Screwed straight on, with no Reception Dramas at all! :)

I have an antenna bought from overseas that is similar to yours with the 'spiraling thread' design from base to tip, except mine is thinner and longer. After driving enthusiastically at the Winton Fun Day I noticed a strange humming in the cabin, the pitch of the noise changes according to my speed. So I started to worry about cracking a bearing or something else in the transmission right.. Got home and spent hours inspecting the engine bay for any leaks. Nothing.

A few days had passed and the strange humming sound was increasingly annoying and I was about to contact MMA to get it looked at when I noticed my antenna fully erect! I remembered I did adjust it at Winton for some unknown reason. I quickly lowered it down and the sound is now gone! The antenna whistles when air flows across it.

Something to keep in mind if you ever come across such a noise! :)

I bought a solid alloy Tucson antenna off ebay for around $50 which came with a few different sized studs for mounting in different holes, it's about 10cm long and works a treat! Doesn't look factory if you pay attention it it though.. No humming either :P
