JAS RACING - CARBING Underbody Brace
http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t281/EVOnine_photo/unerbodybrace.jpg
Theres never too much chassis torrsional rigidity. The more the better if you want your car to handle. Generally speaking less body flex will induce more predictable chassis handling on the limits. This underbody Body brace from CARBING will tight the right and left mainframe to together and improves torrsional rigidity for your Colt.
Fits: Ralliart Colt 1.5L Turbo
Price:CARBING Underbody Brace $489 + shipping

guys
this is going to affect the rear rigidity more than for the centre portion right? I am looking at lovecolt's YR ADVANCE centre monoque bars instead...

lol at installation pics .. no use of rear ramps or stands. Just the trolley jack !! Farking dangerous !
Anyway, has anyone used this product and can provide a review on how it has affected the handling on the RColt ? Doing a search now ..
Thanks.

the rcolt has no rear sway bars what-so-ever, im guessing this would be a 100% improvement.
only place you will find a review is if you can swim through the hours of crap on dc3, or pm tingtw or we1hu1 and they reply to you.

Thanks Steve-B I'll do that.
Also, someone needs to drop off their car at Whiteline to let them do some R&D on a rear sway bar !!

Bracing will not have a similar effect as sway/antiroll bars...
Bracing will only improve your car if you drive it so hard the chassis flexes and the bracing is in an area that will kurb this flexing...
In other words, wait for the rear sway bar ?

fauxpas: If you are referring to top strut bracings, then yes your statement's valid, but if you are referring to those underbody bracings. Then you must experience it yourself before coming to conclusion.
My YR advance underbody bracing does help on bodyroll issue. Ommeh (Tommy) driven my car and that's the very first thing he told me.
