Hmm once again the noob has to ask a question...
How much *better* are these than the standard brakes?? The standard ones i have found to be pretty great!

they are more based at track use. Think forward flips braking power ;)
But on the track you dont want brakes that fade after 3 laps, most cars do, i didnt have a probelm with the colt i was doing about 5 hot laps before a cool down lap

Yo, our standard brakes with good aftermarket brake pads will be suffice for most owners.
Alot of RColt here in Singapore having more than 200PS and 300Nm torque. Which our stock brakes can't handle well.

Spec R Tuning Factory selling it? The rotor can't fit your COLT RALLIART coz PCD is 4 x 114.3. Anyway, you can always drill it to 4 x 100.

Not Spec R, it's Super GT.
I am not sure about PCD as I never seen the product. But I think it's not really hard to drill it to 4X100.
Actually, I tried already to put VRM/VR4 original 2 POTS into my Colt Ralliart and it's fit. But I have to buy 295MM disc for replacement. I think this is another option to upgrade our Colt as well.

yes they are very nice but there are problems as well.
pros:
BLING BLING brakes
only mini 4 pot but breaking is very very SOLID! and break bias is also good
Cons:
it runs on floating brake pads that rattles!! and squeeks like mad!!!

I think I could live with the noise, but I would want to get a proper engineers certificate before running my car on the road with these brakes (or any aftermarket brake kit come to think of it). Call me paranoid I guess!

the galant you are looking for is the 90-93 turbo. 4x144.3 and 276mm rotors with twin piston front calipers.
Bumping an old thread.
Was doing some browsing this morning. Came across these on the Project-Mu Australian website.
http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/cali_f4slim.php
According to the list, they are compatible with RColt. Ive fired off an email to check that they are direct bolt on.
Could be a goer. They do look sexy :p

I've got EBC grooved and drilled rotors from a Volvo S40 T5 (200BHP) with Yellow Stuff pads on my 215BHP CZT, I think those are good enough, espically for the price which was about £225 UK Pounds....
