Hi guys thanks for the responses...

Well i didnt look at the R colt for one big reason is its design...i hope i dont offend anyone but i dont like how it looks. Second reason is i didnt want to spend that much money & where i live in sydney Turbo cars attract theives and also insurance is way over what you guys get in other states. Plus petrol is expensive. I will be getting an RX3 and using it as my sleeper ;)

I love my SS. it isnt what we all expected but its way more then enough for city driving. No point having a turbo which only makes it .05 seconds faster or maybe bit more. I do understand the feeling of a turbo car and a NA car is different but i think id rather be pinned to the seat rather then a tap on the back hehe ;) (no offence to all turbo car and R colt owners)

By the way the plates are my old plates..its no longer AZM-66G :)

SS v.s Polo GTi is not a fair race :)

SS v.s standard Polo is more an equal race ;)

I actually had a run with 2 cars already and beat them easily. SS v.s Yaris & Echo Sport. Both were easy to beat. I dont know if i can beat the olf Swift GTi's though. They are very light...and have heaps of balls hehe...

Why isnt it fair. Your lighter with a little bit less power. i think it would be fun. How bout a mountain run, fancy a run at that. :D

I think a hill climb race the SS is far more in advance..its handling is awesome and is very responsive on tight and short curves.

I would give it a go but i am too far to QLD :)

far more advanced hey. we will have to see about that. :) if this ever comes up on your redlinegti forum and someone from brisbane is willing to do a golorius nebo run let me know. I will have some fun with in the limits of the law.

lol this is gold....there are a few old school gti's that im afraid off in qld... but as for colt r, ss and polo gti in stock form they all have their weaknesses. As a n/a package the ss is nice but lacks in torque. It has nice styling which matches the polo. The colt r has an aggressive look but u either love it or hate it lol. The colt seems to be a more Look at me im a racer style with the seats etc . I guess the polo has the power and the looks to win most ppl over. In the end its what tickles ur fancy.
You either choose the ss for cheap insurance and n\a fun
Choose the polo gti for turbs and euro style action\
last but not least the colt for jdm yo stylin and the bucket seats.
if i had a chance to spend my money again i would have probably bought a house lol. cars are money drainers
:p

couldnt agree more on all accounts. i only bought a new car because of the wife. I had a 1993 Toyota Corolla with a Blacktop 20v 4age so i know all about n/a goodness nothing like reving to over 8000rpm to get your heart going. :D
